The undated manuscript (British Museum no.13087) is one of three (or more?) viola-sonatas, most probably from the same period as Telemann's Scherzi Melodichi for violin and viola of 1734. Presumably they were also printed at one time (perhaps in Amsterdam, where much of his chambermusic was published) but till now however I am not acquainted with a former edition. Solopart and basspart are original. Realisation and indications for registration are from the editor.
