With the second volume 'Russische Klaviermusik' (Russian Piano Music) being released in March 2014, the collection of pieces by composers of Russia and the former Soviet Union is further expanded. As in the first volume (SIK 2409), it aims to offer the broadest possible presentation of Russian-Soviet piano literature, which is so rich in works that are appealing and attractive in sound. This collection, containing pieces of moderate difficulty, is addressed to players of all ages: not only to children and youths but also to experienced adults who are searching for piano literature beyond the customary repertoire. It was definitely not a piano method that was conceived here, but a collection to enrich piano instruction with particularly beautiful pieces. 147 pages.
