This 30 minute, 7 movement work explores the life and work of the patron Saint of Wales, St David. There are three reflections in Welsh on themes of St Davids's last sermon, 3 Psalms in latin, an a poem about the Saint in English translation (Good Night, House of Dew). The style is characterised by syncopated brass and lots of pulsing strings, with polyrythmic African style percussion underpinning the chorus. Orchestral score and parts on hire only.
