The Music Makers is a delightful ode set for Alto solo, SATB chorus and orchestra accompaniment, using words by Arthur O'Shaughnessy. It was dedicated to "my friend Nicholas Kilburn". It was first performed at the Birmingham Festival on 1 October 1912, conducted by the composer, with Muriel Foster as the soloist. This edition is the Vocal Score with a Piano reduction of the Orchestra score.
