The aim of the present collection is to give violin learners of different technical levels an opportunity to learn ensemble playing - to challenge them and to stimulate them. The individual pieces - and within the pieces the individual parts - demand different levels of skills. The second volume altogether is more challenging, as well as concerning technique but also concerning musical realisation. However, some of the parts in this volume are very easy and can be played by beginners. As they can be played by solo players or by several players per part, these pieces give the students also the opportunity to learn from each other, and they also give not-so-experienced violinists the chance of participating in works by the great masters.
