Andreas Köhs has extracted the organ part from the orchestral writing, adapting it to the timbre of the original in every respect.

Bruckners Te Deum ist sicherlich eines der bedeutendsten großen Chorwerke seiner Zeit. Seine anhaltende Beliebtheit spiegelt sich in zahlreichen Aufführungen wider. Die neue Fassung für Soli, Chor und Orgel ermöglicht es nun, das Werk auch ohne Orchester und dem damit verbundenen finanziellen Aufwand aufzuführen.

Die Orgelstimme, die Andreas Köhs aus dem Orchestersatz abgeleitet hat, wird dem Original in klanglicher Hinsicht vollauf gerecht.
