The Satieniana Gracienc is a work (or rather a suite of works) that was written expressly to be performed at the Festival LEM 2001. In those days the project presented a concert that offered in the first part the instrumental version of Sports et divertissements of Erik Satie (version I made for Fl, Clar, Sax, Violin, and Piano Vchelo, from the original for piano French composer). In the public interpretation of the texts included Satie, dramatized by two actors in the first part and the second, an instrumental work written for the occasion, Gracienc Satieniana. With it, I tried to join two concepts: the strange world of Dada and Satie and the district of Gracia, where I live.
La Satieniana Gracienca es una obra (más bien una suite de obras) que fue escrita expresamente para ser estrenada en el Festival LEM 2001. En aquellos días presenté el proyecto de realizar un concierto que ofreciera en la primera parte la versión instrumental de Sports et Divertissements de Erik Satie (versión que realicé para Fl, Clar, Sax, Violín, Vchelo y Piano, a partir de la original para piano del compositor francés). En la interpretación pública se incluyeron los textos de Satie, dramatizados por dos actores en la primera parte y, en la segunda, una obra instrumental escrita para la ocasión, la Satieniana Gracienca. Con ella, pretendí unir dos conceptos: el mundo dadaísta y extrano de Satie y el barrio de Gracia, donde resido.
