It was no easy task - and one which involved a degree of risk, while being undoubtedly stimulating - to constitute an anthology of exercises by Ettore Pozzoli from the four collections he himself published: Studi a moto rapido, Studi di media difficoltà, 24 Studi di facile meccanismo, Studi sulle note ribattute. In all his output of teaching materials (in a life stretch-ing from 22 July 1873 to 9 November 1957) ran to some twenty collections of studies, and the sheer extent and variety of this production meant that any selection might seem personal or arbitrary. Easy to intermediate level.
