Product description

The first drafts for the work emerged during the composer's first Sicily journey in the late 80s. However, it took until 2003 before the piece had found its present shape. The piece is largely imbued with the characteristic dotted Sicilienne rhythm. The same may also apply to the certain mixture of formality and spontaneity, as it seems peculiar to certain Sicilian palazzi of the Baroque. The piece is executed as a rondo and follows the tradition of "Morceau de Concert", a fashion piece of the 19th century. Of medium difficulty, it is suitable for lessons, but also for concert programs.
