Adriana Tessier's focus is on guitar teaching through the research and the application of new methods and the organization of musical events to promote the creation of original music for young students. Dedicatee of guitar works by contemporary authors such as Leo Brouwer, Carlo de Nonno, Kiko Faxas, Jorge Omar Kohan, Giorgio Signorile, Marcos Vinicius, Eugenio Becherucci, she has translated into Italian and edited the collection of essays Gajes del Oficio by Leo Brouwer (Travel Factory, Rome 2006). Author of didactic series Ciao chitarra!!! (Ut Orpheus, Bologna, 2008), for which she also designed Dulcita and Pepito, protagonists of miniclip, comics and musical games posted on www.ciaochitarra.it, she writes stories for children and musical critics review of publications, concerts and records production. She teaches classical guitar at the Suoni Nuovi Association (of which she is president since the year of its creation) and at various public and private schools of music.
